Honestly, this towel is a complete game changer. I used to just buy whatever thick cotton towels were on sale, but I didn't realise there was another level to something as simple as a bath towel. It’s definitely a case of quality over quantity - it's way lighter than standard ones but absorbs water instantly and dries out so fast on the rail. Worth every penny.

The oboro towel is super soft and feels really nice on my face. It’s smaller than I expected a bath towel to be, which I think is the standard size in Japan, but it works perfectly for my face and especially my long hair. It’s very absorbent, dries surprisingly quickly, and has stayed soft even after two washes. I’m definitely going to get more of this.

Actually really good for hair, specially if you have long hair (I'm a woman with medium to long hair) - it's super lightweight and the fabric texture makes it stay wrapped in place regardless of how much you are moving about - which is not the case with other traditional towels or microfibre ones. It also dries really fast I've noticed despite it being made of what feels like a normal towel material, which I wasn't expecting. I tried it as a body towel and it works perfectly too, not ending up all damp and heavy like a normal towel, which is great (considering the size I got is smaller than an average bath towel) - on this, I think I would actually prefer taking this towel on trips and the gym rather than my microfiber one (microfiber gives me an icky sensation in general, so this is a great alternative without having to carry a normal heavy towel).

Super soft and lightweight, if you're someone who goes camping or traveling, the fact that it can dry out quickly is a huge bonus!

I was skeptical about the size but I admit this is a superior towel. As someone who prefers natural fiber towels these are significantly more absorbant and fast drying than others I’ve had. I can’t wrap myself in it, but it’s not necessary. Also fabulous for curly hair!
